About the Haelan Space

“Haelan” is an Old English word meaning to heal. At The Haelan Space, healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about reconnecting with your wholeness.

Founded with a deep commitment to accessibility and care, The Haelan Space was created to support people from all walks of life—especially those who have often felt overlooked or underserved in traditional therapeutic spaces. We welcome clients of all genders, sexualities, racial and cultural backgrounds, and life experiences.

This practice is especially attuned to the needs of:

  • Women and LGBTQ+ clients
  • Parents and caregivers (including perinatal mental health support and Birth Trauma)
  • People processing trauma and complex relational histories
  • Those living with anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional burnout

Sessions are offered remotely or in Person in Coleraine or Banbridge Northern Ireland, so you can access support from wherever you are—in a way that fits your life.

“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”
– Desmond Tutu.
